Scholarship Students Receive Passports with Approved Visas
The Office of the Honorary Consul of Hungary to The Gambia handed over passports with approved visas to nine Gambian scholarship students. The students were congratulated by Hon. Sir Farimang Saho and briefed ahead of their studies in Hungary, marking another step in strengthening educational cooperation between Hungary and The Gambia.
The Office of the Honorary Consul of Hungary to The Gambia formally handed over passports with approved visas to ten Gambian students awarded scholarships to pursue their studies in Hungary.
The students were received at the Honorary Consul’s Office in Bijilo, where Hon. Sir Farimang Saho, Honorary Consul of Hungary to The Gambia, congratulated them and wished them success as they prepared to begin their academic journey.
The successful visa process followed close coordination between the Honorary Consulate, the Hungarian Embassy in Accra and relevant Gambian authorities. The arrangements enabled the students to complete the required consular procedures locally in The Gambia, avoiding the additional cost and travel associated with processing their applications abroad.
During the gathering, students were also given the opportunity to raise questions and discuss preparations for their studies and stay in Hungary.
The occasion marked the successful conclusion of the visa facilitation process and another important step in strengthening educational cooperation between Hungary and The Gambia.
